USE CASE:
MOD was used to optimize volumetric video content and Unreal Engine scenes used for virtual production to run at frame rate and look great. The large scene included over 20 camera shots and multiple locations in one level. Content playback at frame rate in Unreal for the shoot was a necessity. Each Unreal location was used as plates for the LED wall production.
MOD optimized many individual assets for both mesh and texture efficiency while maintaining visual quality . Additionally, the large scene was broken into several sub levels to separate each location so they would run efficiently on set .
